5 oz tasting glass at the brewery.
Appearance: Clear brown with a short eggshell head.
Aroma: Herbs, spices and malts.
Taste: Malty, rich porter with some spices and herbs mixed in. Lives up to the name. Had a bit of a peppery kick also.
Mouthfeel: Somewhat light for a porter.
Overall: This is a nice effort and good beer for a chilly night. The spices could be more forward and the body could be thicker but by and large this is a tasty, flavorful porter.
