Pours an effervescent hazel with one finger of sandy colored head. Some head retention & lacing ; viscous
S: Some toastyness & toffee. Brown sugar dominant late
T: Follows the nose, woody & earthy hops, some brown sugar as well, plus dryness up front. Brown sugar, toastyness, a little booze bite, some oaky notes & woody hoops once warmed up. Finishes a little dry/toasty with woody hops, brown sugar, sassafras, hints of booze & figs
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation. A bit more carbonation once warmer, somewhat warming
I liked this better at the brewery earlier today, not sure if their Crowlers don't bring the goods, but my tastebuds may have been muddled by other beers in the mix. This one could sneak up on you for sure.
I will order this every time I see it on tap
