Wandering Monsters began as a dream while Jason Brewer was working for another local brewery. After almost 10 years, he left and began the journey of finding a team to execute their unified vision: to build a family friendly brewery with world class beer and BBQ.
We are excited to brew and serve you some of the finest beer and food in Cincinnati. We are known in our fields to push the envelope in quality and for experimentation with recipes. We will keep wandering.

We came here after learning the brewery had won an award for one of its beers — I hadn’t even previously heard of this place, which has evidently been here for three years, and I’m not exactly a stranger to the Greater Cincinnati brewing scene.
The two very positive things to say about this square box brewpub are that: 1) it is truly family-friendly, and 2) the service is fast and very friendly.
Otherwise, the venue is way too loud (both because of the acoustics, and the vibe in this family-friendly-and-arcade-populated-including-obtrusive-duck-pin-bowling-games) for any kind of audible meaningful conversation, and that was all before the Trivia Night announcing began. We had to take our second beers outside under the covered patio on this cool spring rainy evening to even be able to listen to each other.
The beers were just okay — the Hefe I started with was heavy on clove and very light on malted wheat flavor, and the (way-over-priced, I found out later on my receipt!) BA Imperial Stout I finished with was cloyingly sweet.
Ditto on the food I ordered: the wings were tough and rather flavor-weak, and the wedge salad was heavy on out-of-season tomatoes.
There is a bar, and there are indoor and outdoor tables and chairs/benches, and an abundance of TV’s including some with sports.
The beer selection was acceptable, as was the food selection. I may have simply selected the wrong beer and food.
I really don’t like being critical of a place — I’m confident the owners and staff have worked hard — it’s also not in me to give a dishonest review.
Again, the service was outstanding. But that’s not enough to bring me back.

Another warehouse-turned-brewery place. But they have done a better job than most making it a place to hang out. Duckpin bowling is a nice addition. The beers we had were good and the BBQ food was very tasty.

New to me and the Little Lady. This spot up the street has excellent
balanced brews in most peoples wheelhouses, and fantastic food for
most peoples tastes. The Cuban sandwich with fries was exceptional
and the service was top notch and friendly. They also have duckpin
bowling lanes and are family friendly.

The brisket sandwich is righteous with delicious fries!
Awesome!
Great new find!
