ill say right now this place is easily worth the drive from salt lake, but also like, id drive here from way way way further away to drink their beer, i know they are new and all, and that this tiny town is a long way from anywhere really, but theyre making beers of national relevance already, and i was impossibly impressed on our visit, top notch beers across the board. its a cool spot too, more or less right off the highway in a place that doesnt look like it could spawn such excellence at first glance. unassuming from the outside, plenty of parking, but inside its gorgeous, airy and open, new feeling and well appointed, with the brewery situated back to the left when you walk in, fully running when we were there they were canning a batch, cool to watch it in operation, a modest sized system being pushed to the max already it sounds like, pallets of grain around, i like the feel of being in a working brewery space. the bar is central, long and inviting, with a clean and modern bar look and menu, mellow as can be. there is a lot of seating and a decent weekday lunch crowd assembling around the place when we were visiting, open kitchen in the back right with the pizza oven blazing and a couple of guys tossing doughs. there is a patio area out back as well, really chill in here, feels homey, like a nice apartment or something, slightly designy without being pretentious at all. they could be excused for being a little pretentious though, as the beer in here is absurd. their lager game is lights out, from the house helper beer to the mexican lager to the outrageously delicious and well refined japanese rice lager, they are killing it with these. they do natural carbonation and are hitting some epic textures in these beers, but i was also really stoked on their mindset extra pale and their circle back west coast ipa, among others. they also had cans of a number of higher alcohol beers, some sours on tap too, and really a great mix overall, although their menu was outdated and off by a number of selections, both on draft and in the cooler, still plenty to pick from, i think there is a lot of pressure on their production right now. service as at first unremarkable, a little disengaged, but it warmed up quick, even got to chat with the owners, super nice and modest people doing work they appear to love, embracing community, lots and lots to be proud of for them. we had a couple of pizzas and they were darn good as well, very homemade, not rivaling the best of the best, but quality options next to their wonderful beers for sure, and i left here full and buzzed and feeling great about every aspect of this place, thankful for the experience. seriously dialed in beers, especially the many lagers, and overall a place i cannot wait to go back to. worth going out of your way for...

Fairly new freestanding brewpub just off the highway. Straight bar opposite the entrance is partitioned in the middle, 8 seats in dining room, 8 in an area by the brewhouse on the left. 13 beers on tap, 3 stronger offering in cans. I was forced to buy a house salad to get a second beer. (With the recent spike in restaurant food prices I'm not a fan of this rule.)
