As golden as the larches, and bursting with refreshing, light flavour, our Pilsner is characterized with a few spicy hop notes. Made with Alberta grown and malted barley.

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a six sample flight whilst in Banff enjoying the life. It poured a clear golden with thin white ring head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bold grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

On tap at Bridgette Pub in Canmore, Alberta.
This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells, well, piney, with a clean bitterness, some soft bready malt, and a touch of lemon.
I don’t know if this is supposed to be more hop-accented than the typical pilsner, but it feels a bit hoppier, with a pleasant bitterness, and a nice bready character that works well with everything.
This is light bodied, clean, and very drinkable.
This went well with the excellent food at Bridgette – and would clearly also be good on its own.
