Poured into a Reuben's Brew pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with coppery notes and fine, three finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus hops, lemon, mild light stone fruit and melon. Flavor is pale malt with some biscuit, citrus and dank hops, tangerine, mixed light stone fruit and a little dankness. Fine bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. The description of this indicates caramel and continental style toasted malt, I'm not getting much caramel but there is a nice biscuity character; it does taste like a hybrid of English and crisper new world malt and it works well. The hops are rather straightforward Idaho 7, with solid orange notes, but with some other light fruit too. Lingering hop bitterness almost tastes like pine, but mostly dank. Better than I'd expect a single hop IPA to be. I'd definitely get this again, particularly for the malt.

12oz can from the brewery. Clear golden pour with lovely foam head which soon subsides. Malty aroma with a touch of hop resin. Malty flavor, some cardboard notes, orange, piney hops. Slick, oily feel. Bitterness rises late and lingers.
