Look: Cloudy, pale yellow with a sudsy head that slowly settles to a lid, leaving nice lacing behind

Aroma: Freshly cut limes, zested lemon, freshly cut grass, pilsner malt, floral hops, and Lemon Drop candy

Taste: A whomping hit of freshly sliced limes, lemons, and zest of both hits the palate hard and quick up front before settling down – but only slightly. Hall’s honeysuckle, vinca nectar, and daylily clamor in for a seat at the table as waves of freshly mowed lawn enter the frame as well and go back and forth with lemon-lime. Pilsner malt tries to maintain order and lovingly fails as it closes out with a citrus sharpness that mimics a light bite

Mouthfeel: Light but full, clean, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and slick, crisp, and clean on the finish

Overall: This is a really tasty beer. Fresh hop lagers to me can be all over the map from awesome to solid to okay, depending on the fresh hop character that comes through and this one is definitely in the awesome category. A tremendous amount of sharp citrus, freshly cut grass, and floral notes that scream fresh hop and enough so that my palate feels the fatigue and almost puckering feel like I would with a FH IPA. Outstanding and recommended
