Clear amber brew with modest foam, as is often the case with beers canned from the tap. Pleasant cereal aroma with a hint of lemon. Somewhat on the sweet side but also not overly hoppy. Spritzy on the tongue with plenty of body. Flavors of malt and grain with hints of leafy hops. Just slightly bitter in the aftertaste. Overall this is a pleasing quaff on the lighter side, but plenty flavorful. From the 16 oz crowler can filled at the brewery restaurant.

Canned at the brewery yesterday.. Pour is clear, light amber. Mild aroma of bread, low on carbonation.
Taste and feel is small-batch, which is good. Taste is malty with a mild bitterness, pleasant finish. Has a nice bit of sweetness.

this is awful, one of the worst beers i can recall drinking in a long time, it straight up smells and tastes like bad breath and porta potty mixed together. this note was there just a tiny bit in their schwarzbier too, but its all over this one. i opined that maybe the glass was dried with a mildewy nasty towel, or something was wrong with the water it was cleaned with, but i cant separate it from the beer, so i have to assume some other sanitation issue, really rough, really nauseating, totally turned me off, both my wife and i could not take more than a sip or two of this, truly repulsive. i smell and taste a little grain and crackery lager yeast, even minerals in the water through the poop character, but the fact im even saying that means this doesnt need much further description. any brewer with any sense for quality at all would have dumped this batch rather than serve it, and if it really is an issue at the bar with the washing of the glassware or whatever, they have a similarly concerning problem. its odd because we loved the bourbon barrel imperial stout and the lemon lager here, so obviously they have some chops, so this is downright inexplicable. seriously gross beer, turns the gut, stays on the palate, feels unsanitary and perhaps even dangerous. never had a beer exhibit these qualities, and i feel bad saying something so negative about a cool place where we had good beer and a great time, but they have to fix this right away, yuck!
