Orangey colored amber brew with plenty of foam in the little Kölsch glass. Aroma of the brewhouse with a hint of lemon. It's quite spritzy with a substantial body. Taste is malty with a citrus kicker. The hops are also substantial with an herbal and leafy taste. Quite tangy in the finish. Overall this is not so much like a Kölsch in my experience, but it's interesting and highly drinkable, with more hop and malt flavor than the traditional style. From the 16 oz crowler can filled at the brewery restaurant.
