Camping Biere is the original Braslou & Bluntrock Collaboration. What started as a fresh hop Amber Ale with Cascade hops grown in Wadebridge, has now developed into a big, hoppy, US style Amber Ale.
The beer itself is designed for putting up a tent in unfavourable weather conditions. When the wind and rain is hammering you in the face, your rain coat is doing nothing to keep you dry, your tent is blowing everywhere and your family are all sitting in the car crying. Camping Biere is the strong, reliable flavour to cut through the pain and leave you smiling, every time.
Since scaling up the beer we've added Centennial hops. Another old school US hop but with more pungent citrus aromas that we think cut through the malt base a little better. The malts are the same, just scaled up, giving the beer a deep amber colour with layers and layers of complex malt character. The Centennial hop cuts straight through this sticky body, giving you a comforting slap around the face with its concise bitterness.
With the camping season kicking off in late November, this beer is 100% definitely perfectly timed to pair alongside those sunny campsite evenings.

400ml can.
L: Hazy, orange amber with one finger of lang-lasting, off-white, cream head.
S: Clean but way understated. Vaguely citrus, vaguely malt.
T: Ripe orange and sweet malt. Beautifully balanced and perfectly bitter.
F: Medium body, slick mouthfeel with a lean, hot & bitter finish.
O: Super tasty. Very nicely crafted. A bit more aroma and this might jump into my top 3 Bluntrock beers.
