Copenhagen 28/10 2022. 75 cl bottle from Føtex, Mimersgade, Kbh. N. Orange version of the usual Danevang brand design with a Rabbit holding an eyeball and a cane.
Pours clear, dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, slightly toasted odor. Toasted malts, caramel and toffee. Hints of brown sugar.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Decent Dunkel with a sweet streak and a light bitter bite.

750 ml bottle, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 5.6%. Deep reddish brown colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of malts, burnt caramel, burnt breadcrumbs. Soft mouthfeel. Malty flavour, some caramel, but the burnt notes are less distinct. Nice enough to drink.
