Copenhagen 27/11 2021. 75 cl bottle from Føtex, Mimersgade, Kbh. NV. Blue version of Danevang's usual design with a walrus dressed up as captain with a pipe and uniform.

Pours opaque, hazy yellow with a mid-sized, dense white head. Stable. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a more prominent, citric sour scent. Sweet, pale malts. Sharp citrus and grapefruit.

Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.

Not terrible. So it's one of the better features in the Danevang brand.

750 ml bottle, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 5.2%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of over-ripe yellow plums and tropical fruits. The flavour has notes of citrus, with a faint hint of smoke in the background. Moderate bitterness. Refreshing.
