Danevang Rudolf is a pure organic Christmas beer. Rudolf the Reindeer has a bright red snout and pulls Santa's sleigh around. Rudolf Christmas beer is a reddish and round lager with roots in the USA. There is a fine balance between malt and hop expression - with added vanilla extract, it is pure Christmas spirit in a bottle.
A Christmas beer that can be enjoyed with or without a red spout, ribbons and stars on it.
Brewed and developed at Skanderborg Bryghus in collaboration with North Retail ApS.

Copenhagen 27/11 2021. 50 cl bottle from Netto, Utterslevvej, Kbh. NV. Red version of Danevang’s usual design with a reindeer as poster animal.
Pours clear amber with a big white head. Bubbly and lively. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor. Sweet pale malts, caramel, toffee. Grains and bread. Hints of metallic alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily , lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet and oily.
Another too sweet lager dressed up for Christmas.
