Copenhagen 8/1 2021. 33 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Skanderborg’s usual design maroon and red.
Pours unclear maroon with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a malty almost candy-like odor with a light tart touch. Brown sugar, toffee and caramel. Sweet biscuit. Light tart odor peeking in.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is pure candy.
