Copenhagen 2/4 2025. 50 cl bottle from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. The usual Ladegaard label design with a row of knitted sheep and some beer mugs with foam on top.
Pours clear dark mahogany with a red hue. Small off-white head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma îs medium intense with a sweet, slightly sugary, malty odor mingling with a light whiff of sourish grains. Toasted malts, biscuits and caramel. Sweet chocolate and sugar.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and a little thin. Finish is sweet and watery.
Not exactly paralyzing-
