Copenhagen 23/11 2020. 33 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Skanderborg's usual design with the black and white logo - this time in blue.
Pours clear very dark brown with a red hue and a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin patch of foam sailing on the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet malty and sugary odor mingling with roasted notes. Caramel, dark bread, singed dark malts, sugar. Notes of sour grains.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong malty sweetness followed by a moderate our bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Extremely malty and bready Dunkel. Liquid sourdough.
