Copenhagen 25/10 2020. 33 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, kbh. Ø. Skanderborg's usual design in green. Tagline is Perfect for anything.
Pours clear yellow with a medium-sized white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a light malty sweet odor and some sour grainy notes. Sweet pale malts , cardboard, grass, glue and grains. A little metallic.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers shortly. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit too sweet and malty to be a decent Pilsener.
