Copenhagen 24/10 2020. 33 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Skanderborgs usual label design in green.
Pours slightly unclear, golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense. Light odor of sweet malts malting with a citric odors. Sweet pale malts, grass, citrus and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick watery, tingling, lively texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers shortly. Finish is semi-dry.
Not exactly a great Czech experience but more bitter than sweet.
