Copenhagen 4/10 2020. 50 cl bottle from Føtex, BIG shopping center, Herlev. Stylized drawing of a hop flower on the label.
Pours slightly unclear amber with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a citric sour scent. Caramel and cardboard. A bit of sweet fruit. Sharp and tart citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent, Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet and caramelly.
Quite on sweet side for a beer named The Bitter hops.
