Copenhagen 23/12 2024. 50 cl bottle from Føtex, Frederiksberg Centeret, Frb. F. Skanderborg's City Sip Brand design with a drawing of a busy city with some Christmas paraphernalia.
Pours clear mahogany with a small off-white head. Stable.Settles as thin lonely patches of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of malts mingling with a distinct scent of sweet spices. Sweet caramel and toffee. Cardamom and cinnamon. Whiff of ginger and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is a bit thin. Sweetish with a touch of Christmas spice. Lingers shortly. Finish is watery.
More than a touch of cardamom.
