Copenhagen 23/11 2023. 33 cl bottle from 365Discount, Smedetoften, Kbh. NV. Drawing of good old Santa in a close up on the label.
Pours clear amber with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with metallic notes. Caramel, toffee and toasted bread. Metallic alcohol.
Rather strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lively and tingling texture. Fizzy.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet caramel.
Not too much of a Dunkler Bock. But not too bad.
