Copenhagen 16/6 2025. 50 cl bottle from Føtex, Frederiksberg Centreret, Frb. F. Skanderborgs usual City Sip brand design with people lazing by the river.
Pours clear golden amber with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin patch f foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with sweet rhubarb essence. Sweet pale malts. Caramel and bread. Sweet rhubarb. Whiff of butter.
Strong carbonation. Thin, oily. lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly strong with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a tart undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet and a bit artificial.
Not too bad for a City Sip.
