A lovely, strong dark Christmas candy with lots of chocolate and fine orange notes giving a wonderful taste of real Christmas spirit. We call it Christmas candy for adults.

Copenhagen 7/12 2021. 33 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Brønshøj Torv, Brønshøj. Brown label with two happy Santas with gaping maws.
Pours clear maroon with a red hue and a mid-sized yellowish head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with something slightly sugary and some sour notes. Brown sugar, vanilla and chocolate. Light roast. Whiff of sour grains.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor îs medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger sour bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a little thin. Lingers for bit. Finish is dry.
They call this a Choko Brown Ale. They seem to have found the bitter chocolate in their cupboard.
