8660 Skanderborg. "Pure province at shoulder height. A small rancid butter hole of a previously unheard of yeast and you can always argue whether it has moved a meter. I wish you came to Skanderborg and stayed here..." wrote Peter Sommer.
We are proud to come from 8660 - just like the beer we have created to make the party, the "fight" and the social time a good experience.
We like to toast and have fun with everyone - even those who are not from 8660.
Here is a classic ale with a good and fresh hoppy taste, easy to enjoy in good company.

Copenhagen 11/8 2020. 33 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Vesterbro Torv, Aarhus. Simple white label with grey and green numbers.
Pours clear, dark amber with a small, bubbly white head. Settles as meagre remnants of foam floating around miserably. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and with fairly sweet odor of candy and sugar. Caramel, cough drops and lollipops. White sugar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sugary sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for a while. Finish is sugary.
Way too sweet take on a Golden ale. They are not supposed to be bitter - but this is a tad too much.
