Our pilsner is light and fresh, with a dry hop flavor. It can be enjoyed on its own, ice cold, or served cold at the table.
Skanderborg Bryghus has, in collaboration with Landmad, produced a series of beers that are classic and modern at the same time – just like Skanderborg Bryghus itself. “Our beer is based on old-fashioned geekery and passion. We believe that you can taste that. Together we have created beers with unique combinations that will surprise your taste buds. Our beers will do you good, whether you choose to use them in cooking or drink them as they are. Cheers!”

Copenhagen 28/2 2021. 50 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Off white label with a fairly simple design with a little yellow flower.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a fairly big white head. Stable. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and dominated by a sweet, malty odor. Sweet pale malts, bread, cardboard. Honey. Hints of caramel.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a subtle bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Not much Pilsner in this one.
