Copenhagen 1/3 2021. 50 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Off white label with a fairly simple design with a little yellow flower.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a fairly big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with toasted fumes. Sweet pale malts, caramel, bread, toffee. Light grainy sourness.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet toffee. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Pretty generic, sweetish Vienna.
