Copenhagen 23/9 2025. 50 cl bottle from COOP 365, Smedetoften, Kbh. NV. Purple versoin of Skanderborg Brewery's usual version of their Deleøl brand design with two glasses sharing the same beer.
Pours clear mahogany with a red hue and mid-sized off.white head, Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, roasted odor mingling with a light salty and a bit smoky scent. Caramel and toffee. Hints of salami. Whiff of citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweet nose but sourish flavor,
