Served from a 0.33l bottle, a gift from my friend Bernie from München. Quaffed while laxing in the Burggarten in Rothenburg on 28SEP09. Best by 07JAN10.
This Pils was straw colored and clear. Had plenty of steady carbo, helping form a thin white head of minute bubbles, with ok lacing. Has a sharp, spicy hop nose, pleasing the nostrils. Fairly smooth on the tongue in spite of all the carbo, and a solidly medium body.
Starts off with some crackery malt, though light on the malt scale overall. Hops prevail, mostly being bitter, but with a lemongrass type of zing. Fairly good overall, I'd go for 1 or 2 of these... Zum Wohl!!
