Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Slightly muted brown amber, with touches of opaque orange and dark yellow looking body appearance. Some nice carbonation and a classic soft white and pillow like topped three finger head. Good retention and lots of staying power.
Spiced forward hop nose, almost like a rosehip tea or something. Very distinct herbal/spice note that come off like a dried floral sense of potpuri which is quite fascinating. Tea like, with a minimal sense of sweetness and a neutral malt and yeast presence.
Palate is a real beautiful unexpected surprise. Creamy touching sense of malt, which provides just the lightest touch of caramel sweetnes. However, a hop forward mid palate sticks out, of juiced orange and spicy tropical touches. Light bodied but coming with more girth and depth than expected. Some nice soft bitterness of tea like leaf and sweet florals, making a real nice hop plethora of flavors that roll and taste so easily. Comes out like a fruit drinking mix of dried crushed herbs and punch.
Adding low abv easy drinking to this and what you have is a big winner right here.
