Undercover Lover celebrates the winner of our 2nd homebrew competition. It pours a deep mahogany color with rich malty aroma, offering layers of toffee, caramel, and dark fruit.
On the palate, it’s full-bodied and smooth. Showcasing a rich, malty flavor with hints of caramel sweetness, brown sugar, and dark fruit flavors balanced by gentle chocolate notes and earthy bitterness. Complex yet approachable, it’s a malt-forward beer with an attractive balance of sweetness, nuttiness, and subtle hop bitterness, perfect for sipping slowly.

On draught at the Hornets Nest.
A dark Mahogany colored pour with some clarity, and a decent head that dissipates into a thin collar that produces slippery lacing with no accumulation.
Dark toasted barley malt dominates the flavor profile. Rich caramel and toffee flavors punctuated with the enjoyable 6.7% ABV
Some dark chocolate, dark fruit and a little nuttiness and graininess add to the flavor. Nicey carbonated.
Earthy bitterness rounds out the experience.
A very enjoyable English Strong Ale!
