Beer #15 from the KALEA Beer Advent Calendar. Thanks Kevin and Nicole. Served at cellar temperature into a pint glass.
Appearance - Clear rich dark golden color with loads of amber hues. A finger plus of loose brilliant white head that stays for a little while.
Smell - Some grainy, caramel malt, not a lo else, not a terribly big nose. General bready aspect to the aroma.
Taste - Middling bitterness, grainy flavor, Not terribly intense and not a lot else, but just seems to work here.
Mouthfeel - Expressive carbonation, medium bitterness. Super crisp. Very refreshing.
Overall - Another good one form this calendar one of the better lagers in the Calendar. Well worth a try if you get a chance.

Christmas or Weihnachten has always been a hugely celebrated time of year in Germany and the rest of the Western World. With Einbeck's Weihnachtsbier, no beer tastes more like the holiday season. Einbeck has always produced some world renown beers, but the Weihnachtsbier is truly unique.
This holiday Bockbier, comes complete with its native warm, caramelly, and sweet goodness that gives a hard punch when it comes to its alcohol content. What separates the Weihnachtsbier with other Einbecker Bocks, is intense amount of holiday spices and aromas.
When first seeing the beer, you might will its appualling color, should I really drink this, but then after your first sip all worries go away. The verdict is Einbecker's Weihnachtsbier is truly one of the best holiday season beers that must be enjoyed. A side note: Although I had this beer on tap, you are most likely to find Einbecker's Weihnachtsbier in bottles, and the beer will taste just as good.
