Not sure if this is the same beer as the earlier review, The can is slightly different than described, so not sure if this is retired. Received it in an Advent Calendar package sold at Famous Liquors Chicago Nov 2015. I concur with the other review. No date stamp on can. The can says: Baren-Weisse naturtrub.

This and three other siblings jumped out at me when I was in one of Moscow's fancier grocery stores. Brown 33cl bottle with a black and gold label featuring a polar bear on a snow covered slope. Purity law applies. Best before May 2005, I opened it 12/21/04.
Pours a very cloudy and bubbly yellow hue under a 1.5 finger white head that looked good while it lasted, but didn't last long, leaving a legacy of just a few lace strands. The nose is strong with yeast and coriander. The mouth is quite prickly and fairly light. Light in flavor, too, with a bit of yeast and some definite spiceness, but lacking the usual citrus tone. A touch on the sweet side, the yeast and wheat nevertheless hold their own throughout the experience. The aftertaste sports a minor hops bite. A pleasant if uninspiring product.
