From the flip top bottle, it pours a nice clear golden yellow with a modest head, soon reducing to a nice ring and leaves lacing. In the nose, it is malty and a bit hoppy. In the mouth, it is lightly pilsner bitter, followed by malt. Nice!

Tall half-litre flip-top bottle: best before 4 Mar 2013, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard @ home on 20 Nov 2012.
Typical lager/pilsner look: light golden, clear, bright and clean, huge white head of foaming bubbles sat on top, which takes it above average for looks.
Dry and crisp hop flavour with a slight grainy nose. Standard German Pilsner, a little drier than some I've had over the years but not check pullingly so.
OK, refreshing and would have suited a warmer, sunnier day than the one I choose to drink it on!
