Belobog, a respected deity of light and sun, is a 3.9% Czech Pale Lager. It starts with a softer water profile. Traditional floor malted Bohemian Pilsner malt, which gives intense earthy malt notes of biscuit and honey. The subtle yet beautiful Czech Saaz hops offer woodsy, earthy, and floral elegance. The backbone of any Czech Pilsner is a yeast that compliments its well balanced light malty finish and subtle earthy hop bitterness. Combine all this with slow steady fermentation, spunded for a naturally carbed beer, and lagered for months to bring out the best of this historically classic Czech Pale Lager.

Miskatonic brewer's side project. The closest mention of Miskatonic on the label is "Brewed and packed at 1000 N Frontage Rd. Darien, IL 60561"
16oz undated can poured into a bulbous pint glass and shows a brilliant, clear gold colored body with rising bubbles, but the weak head of thin white bubbles cleared before they really formed a cap.
Spicy hop and bready malt aromas are clear with just a reminder of diacetyl and the flavor matches.
Medium-light feel with a clean, leaning sweet, finish.
Overall an easy drinking summer beer.
Edit: 07/24
Much better looking beer with a 1"+ head of tight white bubbles leaving random fluffy lacing.
Off flavor and aroma is gone and now this is soooo much more easily consumed, in volume even.

Yields a crystal clear golden color with a bigger, stable head atop.
Aromas are defined by spicy, herbal and slightly wooden noble hops and butter dipped pretzel.
Has a soft, lighter mouthfeel to it, with a sparkly enough late effervescence, making this quite refreshing.
Tastes of bread rind, dried limes and a prominent, noble dryness which goes all the way. The beer then produces a corn bread sweetness to balance the overall hoppiness in a mellow way, producing a convincing complexity complimenting to the hops. Finishes with a bitter lime ending, adding a fruity bite to the crisp ending of this.
This is very nice, especially for its low abv, being kind of reminiscent of Pilsener Urquell regarding its powerful, well rounded dryness.
