Canned 9/27/23 poured 5/31/24 Coca Cola brown with rich head that suds down the glass. Aroma has a sweet, burnt toast, Carmel , drop of grandma’s molasses. Taste follows aroma with restrained German hops, very tasty. Cream feel. Nice!

On tap at Wayland Brewing Company in Orchard Park, NY.
This one pours a dark-ish golden brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like toasted malt, caramel, pumpernickel breadiness, and a light hop character.
This is really solid, and really well crafted for such a young brewery. It’s got a restrained sweetness, with a rich malty character, and a light spiciness on the back end.
This is really drinkable, with a creamy and full body.
This is always going to be one of my favorite styles, and this is done real well.
