Brightly hopped with some of our favorite varietals (Citra, Simcoe and Riwaka) and offering notes of grapefruit peel, mango, sugary kids cereal and a floral undertone. A snappy little beer with a short finish.

As advertised pours blond with a burst of tropical fruit, thin head with a tracing lacing down the glass. I taste the refreshing grapefruit rind , pineapple on this 88’ Rochester afternoon. It is immensely refreshing! Clean, refreshing, highly drinkable hoppy blond ale . Thank you Wayland brewery for a fantastic experience last week and I predict this brewery will be a destination for beer lovers in western NY, much like Fidens in the East.

On tap at Wayland Brewing Company in Orchard Park, NY.
This one pours a creamy and hazy looking golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like melon, grapefruit, melon, cakey malt, and pineapple.
This really reminds me of something I’d see out of Northern Vermont – and that’s high praise. It’s got a wonderful juicy hop character, with a bready and almost sugar cookie like malt character, with honey and breadiness.
This is light bodied, clean, and very drinkable.
I really enjoyed this one – it was probably the best on a recent visit to this extremely promising new brewery.
