Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a somewhat fizzy, one finger head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, lemon, orange, pineapple and mixed fruit; a hint of pine. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and lightly dank hops, grapefruit, lemon, pine and faint mixed tropical fruit. Sharp piney bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. The pour was rather fizzy, but nevertheless developed a nice persistent head and had good carbonation in the taste. The hops leaned to the Citra side, with lots of pale citrus character, but a little pine, particularly in the finish and wisps of tropical fruit I'd expect from Mosaic. Nothing earth shaking and a little not that complex in the hop department, but quite drinkable and with a pleasant, solid bitterness. The color of the IPA fit with the racing yellow theme and I liked the simple, but quite evocative can design.
