Clear golden amber with plenty of foam in the Ommegang chalice. Light but pleasant aroma of cereal and straw. Bright and prickly mouthfeel. There's a kiss of hops to start that turns into an embrace. Some green hoppy flavors with a resiny finish, but all well-restrained. Aftertaste is a little bitter with slight astringency. Which is all fine since it has a pleasing malty base without a lot of sweetness. A greener tasting German-style Lager, but crisp and highly drinkable. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine
