Pint from cask at Shakespeare Pub. Paired this with their delicious sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. Very traditional example of the style with those charred malt and toffee flavors with a bit of molasses and dark sugared fruits. Served very warm even compared to pours in the UK. Would be a tasty beer on the isles but for an American version, it’s really impressive.

On cask at the Happy Hour $5 a pint pricetag. I liked it on cask. Simple, easy drinking and very nice British porter, a touch on the sweet side. Nice to get a English style ale.
