Double Arrow Brewing Company

I visited Double Arrow a few weeks ago while taking care of some business up in Marysville. It’s a neat setup, with the taproom/brewhouse in an outbuilding on the owner’s property. It’s all very DIY, but the taproom is welcoming and it definitely attracts regulars from the area, so it really had a “neighborhood meeting place” vibe. A big garage door opens onto an outdoor seating area when the weather’s nice. I had a great chat with the owner, who is also the brewer and is very knowledgeable.

On my visit, they had 9 of their beers on tap, plus a couple guest ciders. Styles included red ale, Munich dunkel, Scotch ale, a raspberry-vanilla-bourbon porter, Vienna lager, milk stout, and three IPAs including a hazy. I’d say overall the quality was quite decent, and was consistent — I didn’t tasty anything bad there.

I can definitely see myself returning to Double Arrow!
