Appearance: Pours a clear, dark bronzed color with a strong off white head. SRM of 16. (4.00)
Aroma: Aromas of brown bread, some roast, dark malt. (4.00)
Flavor: Flavor has some brown bread, some dark roast. (4.00)
Feel: Medium, body, appropriate carbonation. smooth, smooth, a light roast. (4.00)
Compared to Prost Dunkel 2/26: Pours identical, similar aromas. Less dark bread, brown sugar, caramel. More roast. Drier.
Overall: Ogden Brewing from Utah with a Dark Cerveza Lager, listed as a Vienna Lager. I think this drinks more toward a Dunkel. Dark, bready with a toasty finish. Balanced and smooth. Nice stuff. (Rating: 4.00)

Over-carbonated, there was so much off-white foam produced by the pours, it was difficult to entirely empty two twelve ounce cans into a clear glass liter mug. There's just a little tint to the foam, carrying little of the bright moghaney-amber color of the liquid. A very pleasant malty aroma with a hint of roastedness to it, pervades. Also pleasant is the taste, which is nicely malty sweet, then transitions to a slightly bitter finish, compliments of the hops and some roasting. The mouthfeel carries some of the excessive carbonation, but otherwise seems right for the style. With the extra maltiness and bitter for a Lager finish, this has more taste and complexity than a typical adjunct American Lager. Despite all the enduring foam, there's almost no glass lacing. But, Lagers don't get much tastier than this.
