Served from a 355ml pop off bottle into a snifter
A: Pours 1 finger thick mocha head that lasted a few minutes. Colour is a rich black with a reddish tinge.
S: Dark roasted malts, rich dark chocolate, hints of coffee and tart cranberries.
T: Intense chocolate upfront with a bit of bitterness that lead to a sweet but satisfying cranberry finish. The flavor masked the alcohol very well.
F: Thick. whole mouth was coated in its glory. Stomach felt warm afterwards. Mid-low carbonation.
O: More than pleased with the taste. Was hoping for it to have more of a whiskey flavor from the barrels it was aged in though. Great dessert none the less.
