From a 32oz growler, filled at the brewery 03/08/23. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a milky-cloudy orange with two fingers of pouffy sea foam-like head. Retention is excellent, leaving a sudsy cap and fat gobs of lacing.
Nose is yeasty-fruity, mildly sweet and earthy. Aroma of orange juice with a dirt-like earthy edge.
Taste is perfumy with a candy-like sweetness. Tasting sweet, sticky berry, orange slices and cloying, composty melon. Some oily citrus peel bitterness but predominantly sticky sweetness.
Feel is sticky-juicy, medium bodied with tingly, seltzer-like carbonation.
Overall, a sweet and sticky, juicy NEDIPA. Drinkable enough but not in the top 80th percentile of Modestman NEIPA’s.
