From a 16oz can, undated - IG shows a 01/23/24 release. Served in a Tree House-branded willi becher because screw proper glassware.
Pours a cloudy grapefruit juice-colour with two-plus fingers of lush creamy head. Retention is excellent, leaving fat gobs of merengue-like lacing.
Nose is sweet but with a rindy sharpness. Aroma of sweet, juicy peach and woody pineapple peel.
Taste is totally in accord with the aroma, sweet and creamy but with a pithy, even piney, bitter edge. Tasting ripe juicy peach, pineapple, pithy mango peel and kiwi scrapings. Juicy as the dickens, with a vaporous vanilla in the sinuses, but with pithy bitterness throughout and then a smidge of resinous pine in the finish.
Feel is smooth and fluffy, better than medium bodied and feeling a little heavier due to the fine, relatively gentle carbonation - not under-carbonated, in fact utterly right and proper relative to the style. Aside from a somewhat drying finish there is zippo indication of the stated 8.5% abv.
Overall, a home run. It’s a little heavy, maybe a little sweet to my tastes but that’s just me being an asshole because it is 99.99% flawless relative to the style.

Just another ridiculously well-crafted NEIPA from these guys and I'm so happy to see them team up with Spyglass. Two of NH's best NEIPA brewers, and right up there with the best all around. I've long since run out of superlatives for such things. It was amazing.

Modestman Brewing LLC IPA-Imperial / Double New...
Ahhh, that classic soft, pillowy, dry hopped mouthfeel is excellent. Deep hop flavors of Cantaloupe, pine sap, boozy pineapple and leafy lupilin juice. Soft and sweet in the finish with a vanilla tinged. Golden malty grain backbone that is classic NE.
