Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy pale orange yellow color with a puffy head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading slowly over time and leaving tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather strong of a bready and yeasty smell mixed with notes of pretzel and some tropical fruit smells of tangerine, guava, and papaya. At the same time there is a big showing of an herbal and earthy hop mixed with notes of grapefruit and some apricot and peach. Rounding it all out are notes of mustiness and some melon as well as a touch of hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a thick bready flavor paired with lots of fruit of a apricot and peach, paired with guava, mango, and tangerine. At the same time there is a good showing of herb and grapefruit, along with some oat and a light spice. A melon flavor is also rather well represented upfront, with it, as well as some of the other fruits, fading a touch. Toward the end there is a bit of an increase in the herbal hop and a good showing of earth, leaving one with a rather thick and moderately hopped up taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is very thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is lower. The feel matches the thick body and tastes rather well, making for a slow sipper.
Overall – A rather thick DIPA with an overall good level of flavor. Rather nice.

Lush and pillowy feel. Dry earth complexity in these hops is deep. Sweet, fruity, melon aftertaste rides on long after the sip. Luxurious texture and chewy middle section is pretty heavy, yet summer time easy at the same time. Bold and fresh hop character
