Dad is from Sweden, so we like to call him “Papa Björn” which, translated from Swedish to English means “Papa Bear".
When he comes home from a hard day's work, all he craves is a simple Pale Ale. This beer is dedicated to him and all the other “Papa Björns” out there.
Super simple and easily crushable this Pale Ale is refreshing, just like a Swedish Summer.

Gifted for Christmas in 2022, and drunk in August 2023.
L: The beer is a dark honey-yellow in the glass. It has a thick, frothy head with staying power and oodles of bubbles flying up the glass. This is a good-looking beer!
S: Rich, almost burnt caramel, with a spicy hop background.
T: A sweet, rich, tangy caramel malt base with a bitter note that evokes burnt, caramelised sugar. The bitter, spicy hop note masks any citrus from the Cascade hops.
F: Mouthfeel is exceptionally smooth. Oats are in the grain bill, and it's self-evident in the beer's body. Carbonation is restrained. This beer drinks exceptionally smoothly.
O: The can has been in my fridge for eight months, and in its aged state, it has evolved into a smooth, bitter and delicious beer. I might not drink what the brewer intended, but I love it!
Cheers!
