I had this at the Melbourne Beer Festival at Catani Gardens in St.Kilda in February 2024.
L: It is black with ruby highlights and a mocha-coloured head. No carbonation can be seen through the solid wall of beer.
S: Very neutral. I literally could smell nothing!
T: Intensely bitter dark chocolate and roast. The bitterness lingers long after the swallow. Rich caramel body. Raspberry, cola and tobacco. Alcohol is very well hidden. Very nice!
M: Very smooth and full.
O: This is a very well-put-together, bitter, roasty, and tasty stout. It lost slight marks for the nose, which was non-existent.
