A blend of classic West Coast IPA hops provide typical fruit and evergreen notes while a blast of Warrior kicks up the citrus.

Taster at Binary. Clear golden pour, thin white head, streaky lacing. Light hoppy aroma, grassy. Taste is hoppy, mild sweetness, piney, earthy, grassy.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with light coppery notes and a two finger white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of pale malt, grassy and citrus hops, lemon, grapefruit, hay and a little mineral. Flavor is biscuit malt, citrus and grassy hops, lemon, grapefruit, a hint of pine and grassy hops; a little floral; solid bitterness with a touch of pine resin in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. An old fashioned style IPA with a malt body that leans to English bitters and IPAs, and a mixture of continental grassy hops and West Coast style citrus hops. Slight pine and not as much as expected from the West Coast style. The hop bill is engaging and enjoyable with the hoped for good bitterness in the finish. I'm a big fan of malty beer and I'm almost always find a biscuit malt body like this one to be a pleasant surprise in any IPA. Not a traditional West Coast one, but I liked it quite well enough. I'm encouraged to try some of their other IPAs now.

16 oz can purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR.
$3.49
POurs a nice semi turbid ( not too hazy) orange body with a nice long lasting off white head. Good lace.
Aroma kinda weak..weak citrus..some floral hops. Caramel malts.
Taste is OK but not what i expected from a WC IPA. Very balanced they have 4 hops in this beer and they really meld together in the taste..leaving a taste similar to fresh strawberry preserves!. Bitter right at the end though.
Mouth feel is actually nice.
Strange IPA but an OK beer.
