Look: Slightly opaque light-medium orange with a nice-looking head that settles to a ½ finger lid, leaving awesome lacing clung to the rim of the glass
Aroma: Pome fruits dominate – pear and apple mainly, a little pineapple, passionfruit, freshly baked bread, and some doughy notes as well
Taste: Ripe pear and slightly tart apple kick off the flavor journey and soon a little apricot, pineapple, and bread weave their way in. The apricot holds through as the pineapple and tropical notes fade and strong pear returns for the finish along with a modest bite
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, and some noticeable dryness on the finish though on the milder side
Overall: I dig it. Honestly, I bought this because of the beer’s name and can art as it’s themed after a favorite NES game of mine – BurgerTime. The beer is good and interesting too as it’s a SMASH with Two Row malt and El Dorado hops which to me, is very unique as it always expresses pear-dominate pome (pear, apple, hawthorn, pomegranate) fruits. Solid enough and fun to drink while reminiscing
