Tasted on tap at the brewery in Apex, NC.
This was a disappointing American IPA. It was dark gold to light brown in color with a somewhat hoppy aroma. The flavors, however, were muddled and disappointing. An IPA of this type should certainly emphasize hops, but this beer didn't seem to emphasize anything. I got an herbal, tea-like note that was the closest to hops that I tasted. The beer may have been a bit aged or maybe there was a problem with the tap-line for this one, but this beer was not a good brand ambassador for this brewery.
